Madrid, Jan 13 (Prensa Latina) Former Argentina president Isabelita Peron was set free on bail after being detained in Madrid at the request of Interpol, confirmed sources Saturday.

The Spanish judge Raul Acosta reached that decision taking into account the health and age of Maria Estela Martinez, Juan Peron´s widower known as Isabelita, though she will have to appear in court every 15 days.

A Mexican federal court has suspended the criminal case against Duane “Dog” Chapman while authorities gather more evidence.

Chapman, whose Dog the Bounty Hunter is the A&E network’s top-rated series to date, was arrested last month on a warrant related to the 2003 capture of convicted rapist Andrew Luster, who had fled to Mexico and was tried, in absentia, in California.  

Bounty hunting is illegal south of the border and Chapman’s actions prompted a charge of wrongful deprivation of liberty.
